When should you take action

If you become incapacitated for work by a degree of 35% or more in your current job, you may continue to accrue pension in full or in part. You do not need to pay any contributions for this. This non-contributory pension accrual depends on the extent of your incapacity for work. It is important that you assess the consequences of your incapacity for work for your pension. You don't need to inform us yourself if you become incapacitated for work. We are informed automatically by the UWV (Employee Insurance Agency).
