How do you accrue pension?

You accrue AOW pension over 50 years. You also only accrue AOW pension if you reside and/or work in the Netherlands. The age at which you receive AOW pension depends on your date of birth. The AOW age is namely set to rise over the next few years. The amount is also not the same for everyone. The AOW amounts are adjusted each year. Information about the AOW can be found at www.svb.nl.
